2003 DMT Membership Application
The Durango Motorless Transit (DMT) is a non-profit organization affiliated with the Road Runners Club of America (RRCA). We encourage all members of the community to participate in the variety of running events we offer. The club sponsors a year-round schedule of races and group training runs. A variety of distances and terrain should interest both novices and experienced runners.
All club members receive our newsletter (now available through e-mail) that includes race results, a calendar of upcoming local and regional events, running tips, news, and a little running humor! Club members are also entitled to discounts at Brown's Sport Shoe, Steamworks Brewing CO, Quality Photo and Gardenswartz. Social events and get-togethers are also an important part of building and maintaining a strong, healthy community of local runners.

Membership runs through December 31 of each year. Applications received October through December carry through the next year.
Annual membership fees are:
$10- Students $15 - Individuals
$20 - Families $50-Benefactors (Thank-you!)

Participation Waiver (Must be signed)
| I know that running and volunteering to work
in club races are potentially hazardous activities. I should not
enter and run in club activities unless I am medically able and
properly trained. I agree to abide by any decision of a race
official relative to my ability to safely complete the run. I assume
all risks associated with running and volunteering to work in club races
including, but not limited to, falls, contact with other participants, the
effects of the weather, including high heat and/or humidity, the
conditions of the road and trails, and traffic on the course, all such
risks being known and appreciated by me. Having read this waiver and
knowing these facts, and in consideration of your acceptance of my
application for membership, I for myself and anyone entitled to act on my
behalf, waive and release the Road Runners Club of America, the Durango
Motorless Transit and all sponsors, their representatives and successors
from all claims or liabilities of any kind arising our of my participation
in these club activities even though that liability may arise out of
carelessness on the part of the persons named in this waiver.
